I am a researcher working on machine learning and optimization. I am interested in methods that are efficient in practice and understood in theory.

Before my PhD, I studied computer science and worked on several applied projects. Outside research, I write here about papers I read, tools I use, and the occasional derivation that took me too long to get right.
